Co-organized and co-presented (with Ulana Klymyshyn and Sara Moslener) a series of seven workshops on the learning model of intergroup dialogue, sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and the Multicultural and Diversity Education Council (MDEC). Workshops introduced faculty (especially those interested in developing UP Subgroup IV-A courses) to intergroup dialogue teaching methods and how it helps students gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between our mix of social identities and both individual and structural discrimination. This series of workshops aimed to help faculty implement discussion techniques for their classroom, allowing for less contentious and deeper conversations, and leading to a better understanding of the issues.
