In 2013 my students and I found, identified, processed, described, cataloged, and re-housed the Korean Orphanage film from 1950s as part of my film access/preservation project before the event. Our work took a few weeks. I facilitated getting it digitized by archival level vendor for Prof. Hope May to show several times during the CMU Global Ethics Day event with retired Korean Ambassador Oh Joon to UN present, Oct. 12, 2018 in CMU Park Auditorium, which Prof. May organized. THe CMU libraries auditorium was packed and we got lots of news coverage.
