The purpose of the association is to establish worldwide communications between all who are professionally concerned with animation (directors, producers, administrators, script-writers, technicians, artists, designers, animators, composers, critics and historians, etc.), and to help promote satisfactory solutions to their creative, aesthetic, economic, technical and other problems through the exchange and circulation of information.
