Volunteered faculty group discussed and provided suggestions to CMU’s market research effort related to awareness/familiarity, brand/reputation, the decision-making process of potential students, and the resonance of established messaging as well as a continued and expanded emphasis on careers, expert faculty and academic rigor. Our participation and inputs helped CMU lay the groundwork for this critical initiative. The Simpson Scarborough team sent the online survey to prospective and current students, parents, alumni, faculty and staff in fall of 2019.
