Examined the advantages, disadvantages, and challenges of a single service desk. Interviewed CMU faculty and faculty emeritus and reviewed the professional literature before submitting recommendation to combine service desks. Prior to the start of the Fall 2021 semester, the Research Help Desk and the Checkout Desk were merge into a single Library Services Desk.
