Mentor of MSIS Graduate Student to develop ERP Simulation strategy to benefit all participants in the ERP Simulation Competition – Participated 2 semesters – Steve Tracy (Fall 2017, Fall 2018). (2/2) In the capacity of mentoring MSIS Graduate Students, Vincent G. Whitelock works with graduate assistants, and graduate students in the Masters of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program, to help them explore specific areas in the SAP ERP system. One project is to get the students to understand how to integrate the data that is inputted into the SAP software program with hard copies of standard business forms, such as Sales Orders, Packing Slips, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Bill of Materials, Production Routings, and Invoices, etc. The impact of this activity is that it helps the graduate assistant and graduate students tie theory with practice, thereby helping them improve their chances of passing the TERP10 SAP Certification exam on the first attempt. In Spring 2018, two MSIS graduate students, working with Vincent, obtained passing scores, of 78% and 85%, on the TERP10 SAP Certification exam, on their first attempt.
