Along with the other major ensemble directors, the head of our composition department, our facilities manager and events coordinator, I served on this committee assisting to oversee the year's schedule of events in the School of Music, specifically in regard to concert events and the logistics involved in finalizing a schedule of concerts, determining through auditions who will participate, identifying and inviting professionals to be contracted to perform, and determining best practices for advertising for said concerts, and all within the constraints of the limitations brought on by the pandemic, budgetary and otherwise. Established and implemented a concert schedule, participants in said concerts, identified and invited contracted professional artists, and determined best practices for advertising for said events/concerts. This resulted in the establishment of our weekly streamed concerts given throughout the year to a broad and receptive audience. This was another platform on which the SOM was able to garner much-deserved praise and remain a leader in our university and community.| Period | Aug 25 2019 → May 1 2021 |
