To reach out to secondary teachers and people in technical communication to talk about how work in our field (pedagogy, visual rhetoric, digital communication, etc.) can help with writing instruction in the schools and help correct misconceptions about technical writing at the secondary level.
Our roundtable proposal was accepted for the 2009 NCTE Conference in Philadelphia.
