The CMU International Travel Oversight Committee (ITOC) is charged with the following responsibilities: The International Travel Oversight Committee (ITOC), appointed by the President, was established to develop guidelines and policies to maintain the health and safety of Central Michigan University students, faculty, and staff studying abroad or conducting research in another country. The committee met to review and discuss University policies. The committee was also responsible for reviewing petitions by students planning to study in countries with current Department of State travel warnings and to recommend a prudent course of action to the Provost.
