Created various clinical scenarios based on reported student deficits experienced during a clinical education experience. The purpose was to further evaluate the student's critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills for patients they may encounter in an acute care setting to help the DCE determine if the student was appropriate to continue in their clinical rotations. Time spent included creating scenarios, reviewing literature to ensure accuracy and most current best practices, and going through 4 clinical scenarios with the student. Provided a summary to the DCE at the conclusion of the meeting for their assessment of student strengths and weaknesses.
