Member of the planning committee of the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Michigan Dietetic Association Annual Meetings.
I served on this committee for three consecutive years. I participated in the conference planning meetings (face-to-face and telephone). I reviewed speakers’ lists, wrote sessions’ introductions for the brochure, and reviewed brochure cover design. I invited three guest speakers (Dr. Ether Myers, Ms. Ellen Shanley, and Ms. Christine Beisemeier) from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to present at the conference. On behalf of the MDA, I introduced the three speakers at the conference.
