Develop.ed the prioritization document for Master in Early Childhood Eduction program Developed 29 page document presenting MA in ECE program.
The Master of Arts program with the focus on Early Childhood Education has been in existence at Central Michigan University since 1970. The MA in ECE program is designed for the teachers and administrators interested in research and practice in the field of early childhood education with the goal to improve teaching and learning. The purpose of the program is to help teachers implement new research findings, stay current with new trends in early childhood education, and be more creative in the classroom. This program did not lead to Licensure but was offering ZS Endorsement and as soon as it gets off hiatus will apply for ZN Endorsement.
The mission of the MA in Early Childhood Education program is aligned with the CLEAR Conceptual Framework, the standards of NAEYC and MDE. The MA in ECE program is based on cooperation with three departments TEPD, Special Education and Educational Leadership.
