As a member, I worked with 24 education faculty and staff from 5 colleges, 11 departments, and 2 service centers. We reviewed the current elementary program data for areas of strength and improvement, collected feedback from P-12 stakeholders, mapped the current elementary curriculum to the new MDE standards to identify gaps, designed new clinical experiences, mapped new curriculum to the new standards, coordinated with department faculty, developed master course syllabi, and summitted curriculum through the senate review committees.
Revised the elementary program to include Birth-Kindergarten, Birth to grade 3, Pk-grade 3, Grades 3-6, and Pk-grade 6.
