journal meeting my paper (with co-author Heather Toomey Zimmerman, Penn State) is one of two papers that will be awarded best paper in 2017 for the journal Cultural Studies in Science Education. (The paper appeared in March 2017, Volume 12, Issue 1, pp 7–31).
Paper title: Learning in and about rural places: Connections and tensions between students’ everyday experiences and environmental quality issues in their community
Our paper is part of the special issue, Cultural Studies of Rural Science Education, with lead editors: L. Avery and D. Long.
