Distinguished Paper Award

This is a highly-prestigious, national competition that provides only one Distinguished Paper Award per year. HERA is the regional affiliate of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). AERA is the largest and oldest educational research organization in the world. Because we won this award, my co-authors and I were invited to present our paper at the AERA Annual Meeting. We were also given a $500 travel stipend to defray travel costs to the AERA annual meeting, and we will receive support from the Editor of the Pacific Educational Research Journal to prepare our manuscript for the highly-competitive and prestigious State and Regional Educational Research Associations (SRERA) distinguished paper award competition.
