The Africana Research Center at The Pennsylvania State University is pleased to host the 2012 NEH Summer Institute for College Teachers: “Contemporary African American Literature,” on July 8-28, 2012. During the three-week program, teachers will engage in an intensive program of reading and discussion with leading scholars, reviewing new and recent scholarship and a variety of literary works.
