Given the risks of unsafe food service, the importance of well-qualified instructors and proctors is evident. Certified ServSafe® Instructors must meet minimum experience and educational requirements. A certified instructor teaches ServSafe Food Safety Manager training and has access to online instructor resources and information. A certified proctor is responsible for the secure administration and scheduling of the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exams, while maintaining confidentiality of exam content.
