    Description

    THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO CENTRAL MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY TO IMPLEMENT THE H20 Q PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM IS A PLACE-BASED ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION (EE) EXPERIENCE THAT WILL ENGAGE TEACHERS, COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, AND CORPORATE AND PUBLIC PARTNERS IN EXPERIENTIAL FIELD SCIENCE TO HELP STUDENTS MEASURE WATER QUALITY PARAMETERS, SCIENTIFICALLY ANALYZE AND CRITICALLY APPLY THIS DATA TO A LOCAL ISSUE AFFECTING THE GREAT LAKES, THEN MAKE PLANS, AND TAKE ACTION.
