A Case Study in Personal Privacy

Abstract

This paper examines individual perceptions about personal privacy as it relates to a website that has controversial practices. A survey of more than 100 undergraduates revealed a divergence of views about this website. The study raises a number of issues about Internet privacy that have potential implications for educators, researchers and lawmakers.
