Abstract
In 2016, the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) created a new entry-level Business Analysis (BA) certification that requires no prior BA work experience. This certification exam is largely based on knowledge of tools used by business analysts. This exploratory study considers the extent to which these tools are addressed in systems analysis and design courses to identify possible gaps.
