Abstract

Multi-User Virtual Environments like Second Life are rich spaces for facilitating communication and collaboration. A “game” for more than play, Second Life can serve as a pedagogical tool for enriching communication courses across the discipline. Our presentation explores the possibilities for student and instructor collaboration in Second Life through the presentation of results from our project on Second Life, collaboration, and instructional communication.
