Abstract

The goal of this project was to use new CMU Graphic Standards to design a more effective wayfinding system for the entrance to the 1 North Study Room in Park Library. This signage needed to clearly show the location of the CardTap device, which is required for room entry, and any other relevant information such as library schedules. The limitations of the space, including lack of visibility of the CardTap system and unclear designation of room location were taken into account during initial analysis.
