Abstract

The IIBA identifies 50 techniques used by business analysts. If IS programs are to prepare students, they presumably should address these techniques. This study reviewed the coverage of BA techniques in systems analysis and design sources. The results found this coverage to be highly variable, and the effects of three independent variables were evaluated. The implications for IS education and research are examined.
