Abstract

The library offers different resources to meet different user needs. For undergrads in particular, the building continues to be a popular study destination and academic support center. Learn how the 2015 master planning process will guide the development of the building over the next 10-15 years, and get a glimpse of the 2nd floor remodel. Over the past 3 years the CMU Libraries have also embarked on a campaign that has combined digital, print and social media along with user experience testing and peer to peer presentations to market the resources and services they have to offer. The goal is to ensure that every CMU student understands how the Libraries can help them “Connect….Collaborate….Succeed” whether they are physically in the Library, or anywhere around the world. This presentation will walk through how and why the Libraries are doing this and the lessons that have been learned thus far.<br>
