N2 - Based on the requirements of power demand side in smart grid, this paper proposes a smart internet of power consumption equipments (SIPCE). The arichitecture is introduced in the following aspects: composing architecture and information architecture, including its coverage area, composing elements and information flows. The functions of SIPCE are divided into three aspects: general operation of the smart grid, integration of the distributed energy sources and intelligent residence. Comparing with the traditional intelligent community system, it has a wider coverage area, more functions and a greater cost-effectiveness. It supports a flexible plug-in of both the distributed generation system and electric vehicles into the power system. The SIPCE can not only intelligentize the power consumption but also realize a bilateral interaction between customers and electric utilities, and provide decision supports for a safer, more reliable and economic operation of the distribution network.
