Abstract

Dermabrasion may be complicated by excessive bleeding during the procedure. Adrenosem® salicylate has been used to control capillary oozing in various other surgical procedures. In a double‐blind study of ten patients undergoing dermabrasion, Adrenosem salicylate was found to reduce capillary oozing during the procedure to a worthwhile degree. No untowards effects were encountered.
