Coordination Control of Battery Energy Storage and MTGS in An Independent AC Micro-grid

Abstract

In the independent ac micro-grid system, the coordination control between MTGS and battery energy storage is the key to ensure the stable operation of the system. A coordinated control method is proposed based on the quick response of battery. In view of the voltage quality problem when the main power supply in the micro grid is converted from the energy storage system to the micro gas turbine or from the micro gas turbine to the energy storage system, this paper proposes a seamless switching control strategy for the dual main power supply of the MTGS and the energy storage battery. Finally, PSCAD simulation software is used to verify the proposed method.
