Abstract

Engaged in Participatory Action Research (PAR) for Kwanzaa Park neighborhood and community organizers. Conducted participant-observation with field, analytic, descriptive, and jotted notes at three community locations affiliated with the neighborhood. Interviewed and transcribed residents of neighborhood utilizing verbatim quotes in development of final presentation to address themes and patterns in research. Collected, labeled, and analyzed culture documents from community.
