title = "Cross-layer information based routing protocol for Power Line communication",
abstract = "Smart Grid communications involves various applications with different transmission requirements. Power Line could afford both narrowband and broadband communications to enable the hybrid applications in Smart Grid. In this paper, a routing protocol is explored based on cross-layer channel information and power resource allocation information. A new frequency selected neighborhood relationship is proposed. Employing the local neighbor information, we deal with the commuting problems and least hops problems, which provide superior performance of communication with hybrid applications.",
