Abstract

We conducted a meta-analysis examining the extent to which individual differences (e.g., tolerance for ambiguity) and workplace experiences (e.g., fairness) predict change cynicism. We also examine the relationships of cynicism to employee attitudes (e.g., commitment), motivation (e.g., engagement) and various forms of performance (e.g., citizenship behaviors). Additionally, we explored the meta-analytic relationship between change cynicism and trust.
