Abstract
Cystosarcoma phylloides, a benign tumour of the female breast, is a relatively uncommon pathological entity. It is sometimes very difficult to differentiate it from carcinoma. In 1938, Johannes Muller first reported the entity of cystosarcoma phylloides. Since then a large number of reports of this condition have appeared in the literature from the recent past. The present communication reviews four cases of cystosarcoma phylloides.
