Abstract

We live in a world where energy savings has become a frequently discussed topic. In this study, the design of a Smart Power Strip is discussed which can be operated using a smartphone. The Smart Power Strip will allow for a user-friendly experience to limit the amount of electricity consumed in the common power strip. The overall embedded system design and the Android app development are discussed in this paper.
