Abstract
The high frequency diffraction grating probe was demonstrated in the detection of simulated microemboli. The algorithm was tested for three different particle concentrations. A linear regression of the detected particle concentrations versus the true concentration across all the velocities was calculated. Results indicated that the emboli to background power ratio remained comparable across the various particle concentrations.
