Abstract
The concept of "literature operating in Robert Musil's Der Mann Ohne Eigenschaften represents a appropriation of the concept of literature formulated in early German Romanticism as a response to the crisis of the subject in Kantian philosophy. In both cases, the appeal to literature serves as the completion of the project of philosophy.
