Early brain development neuroscience

Research output: Contribution to conferencePoster

Abstract

Described general mechanisms and developmental systems as studied using experimental animals and applied these to early childhood education. Answered general questions about neuronal systems and their early development status. Heard and provided feedback on several projects students were working on for class. It was here that I met Emma Dyer in whose thesis committee I have become an ad hoc member. She is working on determining how aware parents are of the potential threats posed by childhood psychotropic drugs.
