Abstract

A brief account of the energy-dispersive X-ray diffraction method for structural studies of disordered materials is given. Results of test energy-dispersive X-ray diffraction experiments on Pd80Si20 and Fe40Ni40P14B6 metallic glasses, SiO2 and SrOP2O5 inorganic glasses and liquid Hg are presented.
