Abstract

Reserving time for writing and then actually using that dedicated time for writing is difficult. Additionally, unless you have a strong writer’s identity, writing within the profession can be daunting when attempted in isolation. The success of writing circles or writing groups helps budding writers build confidence, reach goals, and improve the quality of the product. Kristina Rouech and Betsy VanDeuesen, of Central Michigan University provide us with insights gained from participating in such a group. <br> <br>Learn from their experience by reading today’s post, “Five Tips for Launching an Online Writing Group.”
