Abstract

to me
Accepted with three glowing reviews!!! What a time! Very much so looking forward to growing the area further.

My best,
Tyler

Begin forwarded message:
From: "Richard Landers, SIOP 2022 Program Chair" <program@siop.org>
Date: December 21, 2021 at 7:29:31 PM EST
To: "Mirando, Tyler James" <miran1tj@cmich.edu>
Subject: SIOP 2022 Accepted Submissions - Congratulations!

Dear Tyler James Mirando:
The SIOP Program Chair Trio has completed our work, and the selection of submissions for the 2022 SIOP Annual Conference in Seattle has been finalized.
I am pleased to inform you that the submission(s) listed at the end of this email were selected for inclusion in the program.
The next steps for you are:
Log into the Submission Center (https://www.siop.org/Annual-Conference/Submission-Center)Double-check that all of your co-authors are listed correctlyLet your co-authors know that your submission was accepted and share the feedback below! Please remind them of the format of your session (Virtual Live vs. In-person Live) and let them know when and where (room, day, and time) they need to show up to present. Please also remind your co-authors that paid registration is required for all presenters.Begin planning to present at the 2022 SIOP Annual Conference! Registration will open in the coming days, and hotel reservations may be made at the Sheraton Grand Seattle today! Every submission was rated by at least three of your SIOP colleagues; however, not all raters included written comments. You can find any comments that were provided on each of your submissions at the end of this email. Importantly, your co-authors, including first authors of papers within any symposia you submitted, will NOT be able to see either this accept decision or the comments below unless you forward them.
A mean rating score cutoff was used to determine if each of your submissions was included in the program, and the cutoffs across the Virtual Live and In-person Live programs were identical. These cutoffs were also almost identical to historical cutoffs.
You have been assigned to a physical or virtual room based upon your selection of In-person Live or Virtual Live when you submitted. If you are in the Virtual Live program, your room assignment will begin with the word “Zoom.” More details about how to participate via Zoom will be coming in 2022.
If your acceptances included a poster, whether it was submitted In-person Live or Virtual Live, you will be asked to send your final poster file to the SIOP Administrative Office for inclusion in the Virtual Chair Poster Session to be presented the week before the in-person conference. This deadline will likely be in March. More details will also be sent about this in 2022.
The in-person experience this year will be a little different than you might remember – the Opening Plenary will be held in Seattle at 5:00pm PDT on Wednesday, April 27, followed by the Welcome Reception from 6:00pm to 7:30pm PDT in the Sheraton Grand Seattle. Educational programming will end on Saturday at 12:00pm PDT, followed by planned social tours and other surprises.
If you can’t make it to Seattle and have only virtual presentations this year, we will also be offering a virtual attendance option that will include access to the full virtual program and a live simulcast of a subset of the in-person content.
Whichever way you will attend, we look forward to seeing you at the 2022 SIOP Annual Conference!
Richard N. Landers, Ph.D.
SIOP 2022 Program Chair
program@siop.org
