Abstract

This session showcases two multidisciplinary projects for the elementary classroom. With an eye toward integrating content areas and connecting young learners to their communities, this session highlights the possibilities of school gardening and local historical study. Particular attention is paid to the role of technology in facilitating classroom to community connections.
