Abstract

Gain compression factor and thermal properties of a sapphire-bonded microcavity laser are extracted by analyzing wavelength shifts under different duty cycles. High thermal resistance of 21K/mW and gain compression factor of 1.0×10-¹⁶cm-³ are obtained.
