Abstract

This panel kicks off a new initiative to connect higher ed faculty who are teaching media literacy courses and/or leading media literacy degree programs across the U.S. in order to share syllabi, assignments and other resources, discuss approaches, and work to soldify media literacy as an academic field. Panelists will each describe what is happening at their colleges and universities, and will join participants in discussing next steps for building this new initiative.
