Abstract

This presentation will discuss results from a cross-sectional, quantitative study that explored the effects of on-resident grandparent-adolescent grandchild relationship on the grandchild's identity status in emerging adulthood. Existing multigenerational relationships will be discussed as well as the study's support for a revision of the concept of identity development as a task of emerging adulthood.
