Abstract

In this paper, we will discuss how we built, programmed and designed a system to monitor the temperature of a person's home to make sure that if the temperature of the house falls below a threshold, a notification will be sent to a smart phone, tablet or PC to warn the person of the situation. An additional notification will be sent to let the person know that the house is back above the threshold if it had fallen below it.
