Abstract
Artist-In-Residence program involving teaching students, rehearsals and final performance featuring the music of Art Blakey (celebrating the 100th anniversary of his birth). Other guest faculty included: Tom Garling, trombone; Gary Motley, piano (Emory Univ.); Robert Hurst, bass (U-M); Sean Dobbins, drums (U-M, WSU). Final performance featuring the music of Art Blakey.
