Research output: Contribution to conferencePosterpeer-review

Abstract

Songwriting is a method of storytelling allowing individuals to reflect on life and make meaning of traumatic events like stroke and having aphasia. Three participants with aphasia created songs about 1) life pre-stroke, 2) stroke and present life, and 3) the future, during an interdisciplinary songwriting intervention. Themes were identified using interpretative phenomenological analysis in these co-constructed songs about life. <br>
