Abstract
I established a national audio drama scriptwriting competition in 2012.
In 2014 I arranged a partnership with the National Audio Theatre Festivals organization, which is the premiere audio drama organization in the United States.
The fifth run of the MTB competition in 2017 received 113 entries, which were were evaluated by three independent (I was not one of these) radio drama judges who then conferred the results to me and I awarded a $250 first place prize and a $100 second place prize.
Currently this competition is arguably the second-most prestigious scripwriting competition of its type in the work, second only to BBC Radio's International Play writing Competition.
