Mass-customization methodology for an apparel industry with a future

The ways in which apparel industries practice mass customization and the changes in the dynamics of the industry by the impact of mass customization are discussed. The effect of mass customization on the apparel industry is explained by a model. In present mass customization practices, the apparel industry limits the customized extent of the product market to reduce costs. The advancements in manufacturing technology allow mass customization to be more ideal for both manufacturers and consumers.
