Abstract

On the basis of continuous measurement during 24 hours for three typical low voltage power networks, the impedance characteristic of low voltage power network within the frequency band from 1MHz to 30MHz is researched. The method to measure the impedance of low voltage power network by network analyzer is discussed and the features that how the impedance of low voltage power network varies with frequency, time and location is analyzed. Analysis results show that within the frequency band from 1MHz to 30MHz the impedance of low voltage power network varies from more than ten ohms to one thousand ohms and in general it decreases with the increment of frequency. When frequency is higher than 20 MHz, the impedance trends upward to a fixed value. The impedance alternately varies from inductive to capacitive, the load property has evident influence on network impedance and the network impedance is time varying in a certain extent.
