Abstract

Faculty and administrators will lead the group in a discussion of mentoring processes and collaboration for RPT for early career promotion professionals. Mentoring, mentoring relationships, collaboration, setting your research agenda, and other cooperative efforts will be discussed to move the early career professional through an effective Reappointment, Promotion, Tenure (RPT) process. A best-practice based process for mentoring (and being mentored) will be shared and explored to assist early career faculty to get the best experiences and results from the mentoring process.
