Abstract

The Michigan Soapbox is produced by Heather Polinsky, a professor in the School of Broadcast & Cinematic Arts at Central Michigan University. Heather travels all over Michigan talking with citizens about their concerns in their local communities. The Michigan Soapbox airs on CMU Public Radio (wcmu.org/radio.asp) and earned a 2013 Communicator Award of Distinction.
